Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)‌: Generated by the reaction of calcium sulfide (CaS) in calcium carbide with water;

‌Phosphine (PH3)‌: Produced by the reaction of calcium phosphide (Ca3P2) in calcium carbide with water;

‌Arsine (AsH3)‌: Formed by the reaction of calcium arsenide (Ca3As2) in calcium carbide with water;

2. Impurity Testing Methods;

1)General Testing Methods :

Gas Chromatography ‌: Used to determine acetylene purity and trace impurities (e.g., oxygen, nitrogen);

‌Chemical Absorption Method‌: Quantitatively detects acidic gas impurities such as H2S and PH3 through specific reagent reactions;

2) Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Testing Method :

Methylene Blue Spectrophotometry, Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) reacts with p-aminodimethylaniline to form methylene blue, measured at 665nm absorbance.

3) Phosphine (PH3) Testing Method :
